yoga

Wellbeing is a condition that must be cultivated, not an intervention. I believe wellbeing isn't something we achieve through harder practice or better performance. It's something we build over time through attention, breath, relationship, and presence.

For me, yoga is a practice of attention — a way of listening to the body, cultivating spaciousness, and remembering what it feels like to remain whole in a fast-moving world. It is one of the ways that I explore the questions that shape all of my work.

Whether I'm teaching in a studio, working one-on-one, or practicing myself, my goal is to help people uncover a deeper relationship with themselves. My teaching is diverse, intersectional, and inquiry-based, and aims to cultivate a present, intentional, creative and playful practice.

Practice Together

Studio Classes

I lead public classes throughout Central Illinois. My classes welcome practitioners of all levels and invite students to build a practice that approaches movement with presence, creativity, and play. My current classes are suitable for practitioners of all levels and include:

Power Yoga

Power yoga is a rigorous and rooted practice emphasizing alignment, strength, and self-inquiry. Inspired by the Ashtanga primary series, these classes are tough love for the soul.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa flow yoga emphasizes breath and attention, building a bridge between where you are and where you’ve yet to go. These classes are moderately paced and intelligently sequenced to explore the balance between comfort and challenge, and helping you discover a practice that feels like yours.

Gentle & Restorative Yoga

Gentle & restorative yoga classes focus on long holds, mat-based poses, and accessible flowing sequences to cultivate steadiness and ease in breath, body, and mind.

Community of Practice

I believe yoga teachers grow stronger together.

I'm beginning to cultivate a local community of practice where teachers can gather to learn, reflect, and support one another—not through competition, but through shared inquiry. This practice is emerging — more soon.
